Do you have a computer that has problems? Is it a windows PC? Is it a Mac? Don't know what it is and don't care? Want it fixed? I work on that and can fix it...as long as you didn't hit it with a hammer already...
Printers
When I started this journey, I thought I would work on exciting projects with my lovely neighbors in my condo complex. I had dreams of being a pseudo grandson to many of them. It was going to be great. Instead, I spend about 90% of my time fixing printers and printer related problems. So yeah, if your printer is broken, I speak that language too.
Tech Support
So your PC/Mac and printer are running OK, but what about any other device you plug in? New TV? I can set those up. Email problems? No problem here! Iphone/Ipad help? You bet! WiFi going slow? Let's find out why. If it has a cord or battery, I can work on it and get it going. If I can't fix it, guess what, I don't charge you. No games here, just good ole' fashioned American muscle going to work.

How much do you charge?
I keep this simple. $35 an hour. That's it, one flat fee to keep everything simple for you and me. I don't believe in playing games when it comes to your money or mine.

How far will you travel?
Originally I only used to service residents at my condo complex in North Dallas. Eventually, demand started coming from outside our community gates. Ideally, I only service Dallas. The further I have to drive outside of Dallas, the more I will have to adjust my prices. At some point, it wont make sense financially for me to come to you.
I need technology advice, not service.
This happens often. I am happy to have a short chat on the phone or via email if you have a problem you need an informed opinion on. Please do not abuse this as I value my time and yours.
About My Business
Hard work meets stubborn determination
The pre-populated text here talked about how hard technological change is and how the fictional company it was written for keeps up with the changes. Blah. In my experience technology is as much about being knowledgeable as it is being willing to "tinker" and "test". No one comes out of the womb knowing how to boot a Mac off of an external hard drive to remove spam off the internal hard drive. No one wakes up one morning thinking to themselves "you know, I bet if I booted to a live image of Linux I could recover some information off of that failed windows drive!". No way, no how. I know how to fix computers and other electronic devices by growing up with a computer from day one and being told "figure it out" my entire life. I have endured 30+ years of frustration and giving a side eye to a broken computer so you don't have to.
Who I AM
Hi, I'm Zach and I work on computers. I grew up in a technological household in Dallas. Originally from Wichita, I spent all of my formative years in the DFW metroplex, attending Lamp Lighter, St. Monica, Jesuit, and UNT. In my day job I perform various IT duties at a small software company. I am an avid ice hockey player, pilot, vicious Monopoly addict, and live music enthusiast. I enjoy fine wine, craft beer, movies, and technology. I believe in being honest (won the honesty award in the 3rd grade [NOT A BIG DEAL!]) and working hard, and once the work is done, I believe in having fun.
